Art for me first and foremost is about processing, it always has been whether or not I realized it. It would be a stretch to say that when I started painting in high school, I was aware of this but at this point in my career it is a unifying truth within my work.

Do you want to learn the basics of photoshop so that you can use it in creating your artwork or use it as a tool to promote your brand? or just want to learn a new skill?! Join the Arts Station's in-house graphic designer Tyra as she teaches you the basic tools of photoshop to get you started! 

This workshop is for you to watch and learn, If you have a laptop with the Adobe Suit applications then you are welcome to bring it to follow along but it is not a requirement!

Wine and wheel is a casual event taking place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm. It is an introduction to throwing on the wheel along with some hand building techniques. Price includes clay and a glass of wine. This event is perfect for anyone wanting an introduction into clay or just a casual evening out with a creative twist!

Join the Arts Station Pottery Technician Caroline in a month long intensive workshop aimed to teach the basics of throwing. This workshop is for those who want to begin their journey in ceramics and will be significantly more technical than other workshops offered. Caroline has numerous years working with clay under her belt and graduated from ceramic arts school.

Join Caroline, the Arts Station's new pottery tech, to discuss glazes and procedures in the studio. Together you will go over some new test tiles and discuss how we like the current glazes. There will be an introduction to using slips as well as more information on how to use the stroke and coat wonderglazes.

In ceramic art school, Caroline's area of interest was glazes. She has much experience, mixing glazes, creating recipes and troubleshooting glaze errors. You are welcome to come with glaze specific questions but any pottery related questions are welcome!
