The Fernie Arts Station are excited to introduce a new series of Sunday pottery skill building sessions this summer! Taught by their pottery tech Caroline, the aim of these workshops is to refine already established skills. Their first class is on handles and they will be going over three different ways to make them! Please note the following:

The Fernie Arts Station are excited to bring back supervised drop-in! Do you have a burning question with regards to your work? Are you wondering how you can stop your handles from cracking or your glazes from coming out weird? Well our pottery studio manager Caroline is here to help.

You can come by the studio to pick her brain and work at the same time from 10am-3pm on Sunday June 26th. Whether you just want some pointers or would like to work alongside someone to bounce ideas off of, this is a perfect opportunity to polish your skills.

Each week will be focusing on a different medium, with demos and facilitation led by experts in each respective medium! This is the perfect chance to learn something new or develop your skills with other like minded people. Art on the Deck takes place on the deck of The Arts Station.

Cost is $20 and includes basic materials. Additional materials/tools are encouraged to bring if you have them. ***Please bring a pair of scissors if possible.

Join Sadie and Rachel at the Fernie Arts Station for this 3 day performing workshop aimed at kids ages 7-12 intrigued with drama. The workshop includes singing, acting, poetry and movement with a performance to follow.
