Valentine, Palentine, Galentine. Roses are red, violets are blue, we want to make mugs with you!

Join Katy Drijber on Sunday February 13th from 2-4pm and learn to make your very own slab built clay mug.

  • $55 each 
  • All materials provided
  • Maximum of six people plus instructor
  • Mugs will be glazed and fired for you and available for pick up 3 weeks later – postage available at flat rate costs.

(Please note – Vaccine Passport and ID will be required upon arrival, thank you)

Artists in all disciplines—as well as arts and culture organizations—are invited to apply for funding through the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance (CKCA), which delivers the Arts and Culture Program on behalf of Columbia Basin Trust.

Learn the basic elements of animation in this 2-part workshop! 

During the first session you will be introduced to the world of animation and fundamentals of movement. Then you will animate a bouncing ball by photographing paper cut outs.

During the second session you will learn how to compile still images into video using adobe after effects, and the basics of sound design.

Wine and wheel is a casual event taking place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm. It is an introduction to throwing on the wheel along with some hand building techniques. Price includes clay and a glass of wine. This event is perfect for anyone wanting an introduction into clay or just a casual evening out with a creative twist!
