Artist Bio
Noel Nault is a Canadian fine art photographer who lives in Kimberley, B.C.
In 1979 I accepted a teaching position in Fernie. I moved here from Vancouver, not liking the city life and decided that Fernie was where I wanted to be. I think it was only a few days before I was off exploring. A long term interest in history and geology attracted me to Wild Horse Creek, site of a big gold rush in 1863.

Come out a try out wheel throwing. No prior knowledge required. Instructor Tathlina Lovlin will go through the process of throwing a cylinder on the wheel. Clay will be provided. (Assuming we have recycled available.) If the participant does make an item, there's a $5 fee to have said item continued through the process including being glazed.
The class will have 1.5 hrs of instruction and have 30 minutes allotted for clean up. Those with prior experience are welcome, but please be aware the class will be geared towards first timers.
Join Teena in this wood burning class where you will be able to make a fall or holiday themed sign. This class is appropiate for beginners and intermidates.
All supplies will be included. When buying your ticket please indicate whether you will be making a fall theme or holiday theme sign. Social distancing and studio covid guidelines will be in place for this class. $30 per ticket.

Pottery class for those that have a good grasp at centering. The class will be geared towards whatever the participants would like to cover. The class will assume that participants have their own clay or will be purchasing bags of clay.
The class will be two hours on instructor with the participants responsible to clean up on their own.

This program provides a supportive environment for kids to express themselves while learning new art applications. This youth program has guest teachers each week to help teach the kids different art mediums! 3D sculptures, painting, drawing and much more!
At the end of the program we will be hosting an art show to show their amazing creations!
Join Louise for a special edit of Sewing 101 to learn how to make some Pride themed bunting. Get ready for Fernie Pride Festival 2020 by creating some pride decoration for your home, office or wherever you will be celebrating from this year! This easy to follow tutorial is aimed at all abilities so don't worry if you don't know how to sew there will be a no sew option available!
Fabric supplies will be available for collection at The Arts Station on Tuesday 22nd September. Registration for materials will be Tuesday 8th! One registration per household.
