The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees all citizens the right not to be arbitrarily detained and to be free from unreasonable searches and seizure. Random stops and roadside blocks are by definition arbitrary, so a logical question is why don’t they violate our rights?

If you die without a will (intestate), your property and assets will now be distributed according the Wills Estates and Succession Act (“WESA”), which is new legislation that came into effect on March 31, 2014.

Catch Me If You Can: Kids Running Camp
This August, Georgia Fear is hosting a running camp in Fernie with all proceeds benefiting the Emily Brydon Youth Foundation.
