Feature Artist - Kyle Hamilton

For me, photography is something that has just kind of happened. Sure, I used to flip through old National Geographic magazines and think how cool it would be to take the photos I saw, or wonder how I could get into Powder Magazine, but that was because I wanted to be a professional skier; I never really thought of being a professional photographer.

To Incorporate or Not

Usually, business owners begin their businesses as sole proprietors or partnerships. Then, after a few years of being in business they ask themselves whether or not they should incorporate.

Know Such Thing as a Free Lunch

We are living in an unprecedented era of human existence. We are nearing the ability to collect the sum of all human knowledge and distribute it instantly to everyone for free. We're not there yet, but we are taking major steps towards that goal.

Waste Not, Want Not

Where does the garbage man take the trash? Where will we put our waste? It’s a question that puzzles even the most educated people. We mass produce at such an astonishing rate that we can’t keep up with the amount of resources required or the space to house the waste. The thing is that in reality there isn’t space. If the whole world consumed at North America’s rate we would need three to five planets to accommodate us, our stuff and of course, our waste.

Fish Tacos with Pineapple Salsa

The three years we spent as a family living in the Bahamas were full of diverse and pleasurable food experiences. Banana and avocado trees grew in the yard of our first home in Freeport. Avocados grow so big they can feed a whole table of guests. My mother would pick them warm from the tree to make “pear sandwiches” - mashed avocado on toast with salt and pepper.

Feel Good, Look Good!

The saying “look good, feel good” previously used by the fitness industry for so many years will hopefully change to “feel good, look good”. It is frustrating to meet so many clients whose main goals are to lose weight in order to look good. Now don’t get me wrong, if you are feeling a little soft, inactive, and not good about your body then absolutely you should get motivated and do something about it. You just need to figure out how to do it successfully.

Spring Skiing

What do goggle-tans, mogul skis, and sun pits all have in common? Those are the tell tale signs that it is spring on the mountain. Although it’s T-shirt weather in town, there is still a lot of excellent skiing to be had in the mountains. Warm days and cool nights have created legendary spring skiing conditions!
