Art Safari Camp, July 11-15 (Sparwood), July 18-22 and July 25-29 (Fernie)
Art Safari camp is an age appropriate day camp for children ages 6-10. Campers will learn techniques in drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture and theatre while learning about new cultures and art history. Campers will take part in the process of creating characters, props and scenery for an end of week performance as well as an art show for family and friends. Daily outdoor time will be included to make the most of Fernie and Sparwood's beautiful surroundings.
In operation since 2005, Art Safari Camp is run by Director Pepper Couelle-Sterling and Sandra Summerfield. Qualified instructors and teachers with degrees specific to art history and theatre, Pepper and Sandra limit the camp size to a maximum of 14 campers. Their goal is to provide a learning opportunity while creating art and performances that the children can be proud of.

Fernie Golf & Country Club for Juniors
The Fernie Golf & Country Club offers three junior camps through July and August. The ages welcome are 5 years up to 18 years of age. Each camp is four days (Monday -Thursday) with a wind-up party on the last day. Each day’s session is one to two hours long depending on the age category. The cost is $50 for 5-6 year olds, $90 for 7-11 year olds and $120 for kids 12 years old and up. This covers professional instruction, a T-shirt, daily prizes and a wind-up green fee with dinner. Tennis
The Fernie Tennis Club will be running again this year after a great turn out last year. New members are always welcome to join, they meet in the James White Park every Monday from 6-10pm May through Thanksgiving, weather pending. Trit-Trot Farms Children’s Programs
Trit-Trot Farms runs five children’s camps (June 27-10, July 4-7, July 18-21, August 8-11, and August 15-18) and three Junior Coach Programs (June 28-July 1, July 12-15, and July 26-29) throughout the summer months. These camps focus on the following: fun and safety, training and round pen, parts of the horse, riding lessons, braiding and bandaging, leading, stable management, horse show preparation, arena etiquette, equine trivia, safe trailering, emergency care and feeding. British Soccer Camp, July 11 - 15
The number one youth soccer company in the United States, Challenger Sports, is back to host its British Soccer camp. The Challenger coaches use innovative ways incorporating fun, personal challenges while maximizing participation and constant positive feedback. Fernie Alpine Resort
FAR has a licensed childcare centre, and is a popular kids’ choice for summer activities and adventures! Open Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30pm and accept ages 18 months to six years old. Here is the schedule:
