Join the Fernie Trails Alliance Board

The Fernie Trails Alliance look forward to you joining them for their 2022 ‘Virtual’ AGM on March 30th.

A chance to find out all about the Board, the endless work behind the scenes, their amazing volunteers and what’s up next… Whether you’re interested in meeting the board and staff; learning about what the FTA has accomplished over the past year; understanding their finances; or would like to put yourself forward to fill a vacant seat on the board, please find further information, below. They look forward to seeing you on Wednesday March 30th, at 7PM.

INTERESTED IN JOINING THE BOARD?

They have a number of vacant Director positions on their board. The FTA has a working board so all Directors play a vital role in chairing committees, and ensuring the FTA is efficient and effective across the wide variety of topics and challenges that we address.

As a dynamic board, ‘roles’ are constantly shifting, depending on the needs of the FTA. They are currently looking to fill 5 open Board seats.

They could especially use people who:

• Represent landowners or other major stakeholders;
• Bring diverse perspectives;
• Are excited about fundraising;
• Have a legal background.

Most importantly though, we are looking for:

• People who are passionate about the trails, especially winter trail use;
• Are willing to roll-up their sleeves to get stuff done;
• Have fun meeting with other passionate FTA volunteers and board members.
