January 2017 New Business
Himalayan Spice Bistro
301 2nd Ave
Located in the Central Hotel building, the Himalayan Spice Bistro offers signature plates of southern Asia, prepared with the flair and spices traditional to Nepal. The chefs are from that region and have over 15 years of experience cooking south Asian dishes for clients in India, the Gulf States, and Canada. They chose Fernie for its obvious connection to the majesty of the Himalayas. They also have a location in Nelson, called Bougustown India Grill & Lounge.
Those who have already discovered the joys of Indian/Asian cuisine will find familiar names on the menu. What will delight the taste buds is the distinctive touch of the authentic Himalayan spices and ingredients, plus the use of fresh and, as much as possible, local products.
Take-out service is available, as well as dine-in (12-2pm, Mon-Fri, and 4-10pm, daily). Delivery is available for a nominal fee. Visit www.himalayanspicebistro.com for more details including the menu.
