Fernie Businesses Featured in the #BuyBasin Festival
As the Columbia Basin Trust and partner FestivalSeekers moves into the last ten days of the popular #BuyBasin Festival, Fernie businesses are among the more than 100 businesses and performers taking the social media ‘stage’ showcasing the diversity and range of products and services we are so lucky to access in this region.
Here’s who not to miss and how to catch them live!
LIVE on Nov 2
“We are a historic printing, printmaking, and analog design studio. We use vintage letterpress equipment, historic type (much of it from the Basin area) and hand-carved blocks to print posters, labels, album covers, and fine art commissions for clients all over the world.”

LIVE Nov 8
“Eye of the Needle studio and gallery is in downtown Fernie and is where items made at Fernie Forge are sold. Glass, fibre art and metalwork by both local and Canadian artisans are also for sale in the gallery. Fernie Forge is a small blacksmithing shop on an acreage in Hosmer, where four alpacas also live. Their fibre is sheared and processed annually to be spun and felted.”
The full lineup is posted on ourtrust.org. If you miss a LIVE video, use the lineup to catch up and you might score some amazing local deals and giveaways too.
