As the Columbia Basin Trust and partner FestivalSeekers moves into the last ten days of the popular #BuyBasin Festival, Fernie businesses are among the more than 100 businesses and performers taking the social media ‘stage’ showcasing the diversity and range of products and services we are so lucky to access in this region.

Fernie Forge
“Eye of the Needle studio and gallery is in downtown Fernie and is where items made at Fernie Forge are sold. Glass, fibre art and metalwork by both local and Canadian artisans are also for sale in the gallery. Fernie Forge is a small blacksmithing shop on an acreage in Hosmer, where four alpacas also live. Their fibre is sheared and processed annually to be spun and felted.”
