Cinnamon Bear Lodge, www.cinnamonbearlodge.net, 250-423-6033
After a complete remodeling of their home, Jason and Cath Liversidge have recently opened the doors to Cinnamon Bear Lodge, a bed and breakfast located in a quiet area of Fernie, just a five minute walk from downtown.
Four double guest en-suite rooms are available, and each has a striking mountain view. All bedrooms have quality Egyptian cotton linen, bathrobes, heated towel rails and rainhead showers. Jason’s breakfasts such as full English or Eggs Benedict, or buffet, will set you up for a long day in the mountains.
After a hard day on the mountain, you can relax in the seven person hot tub looking out to the ski-hill, sit in front of the log fire with a glass of wine or grab a game of pool in the games room, where there are also board games to keep you occupied. You can also try Cath’s on site relaxation massage. She combines her massage skills with her knowledge of the body through her hobby as a triathlete (recently 10th in the amateur world championships). Jason also indulges in his passion for photographing landscapes - his photos are in Freshies, Rip-n-Richards and on his website at www.jasonliversidge.com
