December 2012 Business News
Big Bang Bagels, 502 2nd Ave 250-423-7778
Big Bang Bagels is very sad to report that, this coming winter season, there will be no Little Bang Bagels at Snow Creek Lodge. “We are grateful to have been able to serve you bagels and coffee the last three winters up at Fernie Alpine Resort,” says owner Carolyn Doyle.
“We hope to still satisfy your bagel need in our downtown location, which is still open 7am daily.”
Big Bang is now offering the Powder Pack (bagel sandwich, a cookie and a drink) for only $10 between 7am and 9am. So pick up your Powder Pack before your day of riding, and stay fueled all day long.
Cincott Cafe & Fernie Cattle Co.
Cincott Café is happy to announce that they have welcomed Chef Debra Cook to their team. Debra has been a chef at various restaurants in Fernie and is famous for her delicious breakfasts, lunches and pastries. She has now taken over the kitchen at the café and is serving up a classic diner’s breakfast and lunch menu! As the café is licensed they also serve some delicious liquored coffees, beers and wines to go with the food.
Fernie Cattle Co. is looking forward to this winter. But before New Year’s and Christmas they are celebrating the “End of the world.” As we all have heard, the Mayan calendar is soon to be over and Fernie Cattle Co is inviting you to their “End of the World Party” on December 21. The Salvation Army in Fernie is moving into the world of technology for its Christmas campaign. This year, if you don’t have cash handy and yet would still like to donate to the kettle campaign you can text a donation in or donate online to the iKettle.
