Ready, Set, Wapiti! Fernie's Music Festival is Here

The 2nd Annual Wapiti Music Festival kicks off this Friday at 6pm. Festival organizers and volunteers are currently checking off last minute to-dos and setting the "stage" in the Annex Park to ensure all festival goers have another weekend to remember.

This year's lineup includes Juno nominated Cuff the Duke, indie rockers The Born Ruffians, dance favorites The Boom Booms and Five Alarm Funk, plus many more up and coming Canadian artists. For a taste of these Canadian bands, visit our Wapiti playlist.

Ticket sales have been highly successful for year two. Anyone still in search of a ticket can find weekend passes, Friday only and Saturday only tickets for sale at Le Grand Fromage downtown Fernie, or if there are any left, at the gate Friday and Saturday. Online sales have now closed.

Wapiti is pleased to offer free admission to children 12 and under and adults 65 and older.

The weather is looking spectacular, remember to bring sun protection, warm clothes as it cools in the valley as the sun goes down, cash for vendor and refreshment garden purchases, and empty water bottles to fill up on site. Please note, glass containers and outside alcohol is not permitted on site.
