Taking Root: An Exhibition of New Works by Laura Nelson

Through a collection of original acrylic paintings on canvas “Taking Root” celebrates the tree and encourage visitors to reflect on the beauty, diversity and significance of our forests.

Laura Nelson is an emerging artist from Fernie BC., where lifestyle, community, and landscape create a powerful sense of place and provide endless inspiration for this visual artist. Her paintings celebrate the colour, rhythm, and energy of the outdoors, and reveal the intensity of her bond to these natural places. There is a growing awareness and demand for Laura’s work.
