Reel Canadian Film Festival 2011

The popular Reel Canadian Film Festival is back in town, "celebrating the best of Canadian film-making, from shorts and children's programming to full length independent feature films."

FRIDAY
7pm Fathers & Sons with special guests Stephen Lobo & Jay Brazeau followed by opening reception at the Grand Central. Q&A, appetizers, complimentary drink, door prizes

SATURDAY
10am Little Reels for Kids with free cookies & juice
3pm Focus on Vancouver selected shorts including the 30 minute documentary film Down Here
7pm Daydream Nation
9pm Fubar 2 with Dave Lawrence in character as Terry
followed by after party with The Mudmen at the Central

SUNDAY
5pm Last Train Home (Genie winner- best Documentary)
6.15pm Closing reception at the Vogue, CUFF weekend draw
7pm Incendies (Oscar nominated, 8 Genie awards including Best Picture)

**All films screen at the Vogue Theatre except Little Reels for kids and Focus on Vancouver shorts at the Arts Station
