Tonight you have the opportunity of getting to know two new businesses in town while enjoying appies and refreshments! First off is Mixed Elements located in the Mug Shots building in downtown Fernie, from 5-7pm, followed by Vitality Body and Mind from 7-9pm just off 15th avenue on 10th St in the Annex.

Women in sport

Over the last two weeks I've thought a lot about women and the sport of mountain biking, especially after reading two articles - one by mountain bike racer Emily Beaty, the other by Mitchell Scott on Pinkbike.com. I also realized that yes, I'm a bit of a princess AND a mountain biker.. and that's okay.
