The Niger: A River Under Siege at The Arts Station

The kick-off to Fernie's 2012 Think Tank Cinema series. Fernie resident and internationally acclaimed climate journalist Bernice Notenboom journeyed to the African desert. Her new film The Niger: A River Under Siege, is a 750 kilometer gripping kayaking adventure down the Bani and Niger Rivers.

This provocative film followed by discussion facilitated by Notenboom, is the kick off to the Fernie Think Tank Cinema series. Join the viewing and discussion at the Arts Station theatre, at 7:30pm. Suggested donation is $10 per person with proceeds supporting the Elk River Alliance water wonder workshops for youth.
