This popular annual event is entertaining to say the least. 10 guys compete for the coveted title of Mr. Fernie, preparing a "dance" for the ladies in attendance. Doors open to the public after the show, girls can come at 9pm - $5 at the door.

Women in sport

Over the last two weeks I've thought a lot about women and the sport of mountain biking, especially after reading two articles - one by mountain bike racer Emily Beaty, the other by Mitchell Scott on Pinkbike.com. I also realized that yes, I'm a bit of a princess AND a mountain biker.. and that's okay.
