All the way from New Zealand “The Land of the Long White Cloud” comes the beat making wunderkind “K+Lab”!
Combining his love for block-rockin hip-hop with skull shaking basslines and soul stirring funk, the K+Lab sound is a party rocking mother-ship full of musical booty. K+Lab live consists of his Keytar and MPD drum machine completely rerock- ing his original tunes and remixes he takes you on an eclectic odyssey through the underground swamps of bass music, with a set that samples everything from jazz, to Howlin’ Wolf, to De La Soul and BEASTIE BOYS he will leave you pleasantly disori- ented as he drops brick after brick in to your earholes! It is this bass-heavy uniqueness that has seen him become an in demand performer throughout the globe, consistently smashing up the dancefloor in clubs,theatres and festivals!
Since picking up a guitar at the age of ten, K+Lab has been hooked on making noise and hasn’t looked back, self taught on drums, keys, bass guitar, synths and samplers he is now completely in his element crafting new creations, collaborat- ing with Vocalists in his studio in Wellington city. Alongside his exciting original work, it is K+Labs official and unofficial remixes that have led to broadening his musical diversity. Either combining his sound with live hip-hop act Kolab or adding some weight to rock-band “The Adults” or chunking up the funk from Sola Rosa's Spinning top, K+Lab is constantly pushing himself to create new and fresh eargasmic sounds.
The last 4 years have seen K+Lab bringing the goodness to the dancefloor and ya headphones, performing to thousands of blissed out punters with his epic tours through Australia, Canada and New Zealand. He has performed alongside many of the best in the global EDM scene, receivING support from Datsik, Krafty kuts, Gramatik, Opiuo, Featurecast and many more.

This year his debut album 'Space Dirt' recieved rave reviews instantly topping the beatport charts and was Nominated for Electronic album of the year at NZ Music awards.

It would seem K+lab's on a mission to re-take the funk, and he's succeeding.
