This morning I decided to play my iTunes library on shuffle - here are a few of the songs that made an appearance! Enjoy this beautiful, sunny day in Fernie, BC.

Over the last two weeks I've thought a lot about women and the sport of mountain biking, especially after reading two articles - one by mountain bike racer Emily Beaty, the other by Mitchell Scott on Pinkbike.com. I also realized that yes, I'm a bit of a princess AND a mountain biker.. and that's okay.

From nightmares to spring training to avoidance... I'm definitely learning a lot about the mental side of racing!
