Fernie Tears & Gears

Don't miss out on the first annual Tears & Gears. This event was created by two local Fernie girls with slight obsessions with running (Tears - Abi) and biking (Gears - Krista). Continually comparing their respective "obsessions" they decided each has its own adversities and rewards, why not do both back to back and see what happens? A true mountain duathlon was born, testing the abilities, determination and strength of participants while also celebrating the amazing terrain and trails available in Fernie and adding to the already impressive array of biking and running events held here August through October.
