The Wednesday evening Downtown Social Market and Concert series lineup is set for the summer - it's going to be an awesome series in downtown Fernie with refreshments, the Fernie Mountain Market vendors, live music, and so much more! See you there.

July 20 - Jack Mercer and the Whiskey Bandits, second set later that night at the Central!
August 3 - Faceplant, a local Fernie band quickly becoming a favourite!
August 17 - Erin Frances - Wapiti Windup Party!

Women in sport

Over the last two weeks I've thought a lot about women and the sport of mountain biking, especially after reading two articles - one by mountain bike racer Emily Beaty, the other by Mitchell Scott on Pinkbike.com. I also realized that yes, I'm a bit of a princess AND a mountain biker.. and that's okay.
