Don’t miss out on the best kid’s festival of the year. The Fernie Canada Day Celebration will be kicked off with a Kids’ Bike and Pet Parade at NOON. All day: Mountain Market, live entertainment, fun for the whole family, fireworks at dusk.

Women in sport

Over the last two weeks I've thought a lot about women and the sport of mountain biking, especially after reading two articles - one by mountain bike racer Emily Beaty, the other by Mitchell Scott on Pinkbike.com. I also realized that yes, I'm a bit of a princess AND a mountain biker.. and that's okay.
