A multi-genre single night festival featuring primarily local talent, Wee Fest is a confirmation of the love of music and love of the Arts Station for the enthusiastic crowd. Expect to see all of the great talent that Fernie has to offer from poets to performers and troubadours to trombonists. Come prepared to participate in an unforgettable evening!

Members: $15/adults $10/youth; Regular $20/adults $12/youth (under 18)

Women in sport

Over the last two weeks I've thought a lot about women and the sport of mountain biking, especially after reading two articles - one by mountain bike racer Emily Beaty, the other by Mitchell Scott on Pinkbike.com. I also realized that yes, I'm a bit of a princess AND a mountain biker.. and that's okay.
