Three of the West’s most madly-creative underground songwriters will be surfacing on one stage next month for the Death Ballad Love Tellers tour: the Second Coming.
Ben Sures, David P. Smith and Bubba Uno will accompany each other on guitar, ukulele and accordion respectively while each takes a turn showcasing his songs.
The trio are performing at at 361 Sixth Avenue, with cocktails at 7pm and the concert at 8pm. Tickets are $20.

The Fernie Nordic Society is hosting the Teck Kootenay Cup this year and would like to invite members of the community to participate! This will be an amazing and fun-filled weekend running December 30 and 31. The City of Fernie will be hosting a Community Memorial on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 1:30pm to honour Wayne Hornquist, Lloyd Smith and Jason Podloski.
The location of the Memorial Service is at Fernie Secondary School on the east end of the soccer field around a bonfire.
Seating and a live video feed will be set up in the Fernie Secondary School Gymnasium for anyone that does not want to be outside. Entrance into the gymnasium is through the west doors of the building. Please enter the area quietly from all sides of the service site.
