This February, a group of local Fernie women are launching a production of The Vagina Monologues to raise money and awareness for local and international organizations that work to stop violence against women and girls.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, The Vagaina Monologues is based on Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women. With humour and conviction, the piece celebrates women's sexuality and strength through stories of intamacy, vulnerability and sexual self-discovery.
